Please accept your invitation .... to take a journey with your friends on a Magical Mystery Tour. It's a tour where anything can happen and where plenty will.

Our UUCE service auction comes but once a year. This is the day in the midst of coldest winter when we've declared a HOLIDAY so we can all retreat from the cold into our Prairie Cathedral to celebrate in a very special way. Each year it is a different journey with the same benefit to the church. Sometimes we're looking for the Wizard, some years we are sock hoppin' - this year we are boarding the big bus for a tour .. a Magical Mystery Tour. A tour on which our members will share our many gifts, talents, and abundance with each other while funding the important and cherished work of our church. 
 
The Service Auction is the only annual formal fundraiser we have for UUCE so we're inviting everyone to step right up and have a lot of fun doing great things for our committed community. The  Service and Silent Auctions present a great opportunity for all of us to work together to support the ongoing work of our church community.

While this is a fund raiser, it is also a FUN RAISER. There are as many ways to participate and contribute as there are members. We're all differently gifted and talented and rich in services we can perform for each other.

Take a look through your toys, treasures, and gifts and select the ones that you know someone would like to bid on in the silent auction.

And no matter what, plan to attend. No one will pressure you to spend money. We want your company in enjoying a fun evening and cheering all the "big spenders" along.

The auction is fun. We have a Shawn Dunning, a professional auctioneer, again this year to keep bids popping for the service items. The silent auction has a variety of wonderful treasures that often go for slightly more than a song (and sometimes less than a song). 

Another way you can contribute is to volunteer to help out in various support roles before and during the evening of the auction. Of all the things one might volunteer for during the year - what could be more fun than throwing a party for your member friends?  As always, with our many talented hands and minds in play, the work is light and the joy is BIG!
